In the Presence of Absence, a solo exhibition by Mandy Johnston.

Absa Gallery in downtown Johannesburg is playing host to a solo exhibition by Mandy Johnston.

The exhibition is about governance and negotiation of space.  Material and objects are used to speak about collective formation/fabrication of value.  Within these works are references to very intimate, personal experiences as well as broader societal, political and existential issues.
