Just in time for summer … Valley of the Waves renovated

There are probably few Johannesburg based people who have NEVER visited Sun City in the approximately 35 years of its existence.  At under two hours away it is a convenient place for a day’s outing, or better still, a weekend break.  It is also a popular concert venue and a desirable conference destination.

Good news for those who particularly enjoy Sun City is that the Cabanas and Valley of the Waves have been renovated.  The Valley of the Waves is one of the most popular water parks in South Africa, and it now has two new slides, Nobel’s Descent and Ovango.  There are also beach food stalls and a pub as part of the beach experience.

Put this in your budget for the December school holidays, especially if you are not able to get away from Jozi for a seaside holiday.
