Breakfast Run to Brazil

Travel Channel, South Africa will be thrilling armchair travellers with Tough Rides: Brazil.  Today (9 July 2016) I, together with other members of the media, joined the Clearwater branch of HOGS (Harley Owners’ Group) at The Bread Basket for the launch of this interesting series.

Gold, dune, the largest river in the world, jungles, flights over waterfalls, remote places, diverse cultures and adventure make up the thrill of the series as they travel from Rio de Janeiro to Salvador, down the Amazonian Highway on to Manaus, Porta Velho, Iguazu Falls and back to Rio de Janeiro.

The Iguazu Falls are on the Argentinian border and they are the largest falls system in the world.  Just those alone would make the trip worth it for me.

What an exciting adventure!  Starting on Saturday 23 July 2016, two episodes will be screened each Saturday evening ending on Saturday 6 August 2016.  Watch this if you’re a bike enthusiast, or simply interested in following the adventures of others in beautiful parts of the world.
