Remember, directed by Atom Egoyan, is a 2015 movie starring Christopher Plummer.

It is also a play on words, a movie about both a man with Alzheimers and a man with a past in Auschwitz.

On one level I was totally absorbed in the story which was gripping, but the holes in the Alzheimers Disease progression is probably going to annoy anyone who has loved someone with Alzheimers.  It all felt manipulative and disrespectful even. All round I couldn’t get past this aspect and what might have been an excellent tale otherwise.  Pity, really, because I wanted to love it as much as I enjoyed it while watching it.

I give it a 7/10 for immediate impact.  I take away one of those points, maybe even two, for the post-movie annoyance as I reflected on the Alzheimers aspect.
