The Green Garden Cafe

The Green Garden Cafe at The Purple Iris Nursery on Cedar Road Broadacres is a children’s paradise.

A group of friends and I were invited to enjoy the ambience.  They had live music and a magician and unlimited quantities of snack food for us. I didn’t particularly enjoy the snack platter food and had no children with me.  I resolved to come back with children.  And I did.

There are LOTS of different activities for little ones, bowling, a zipline, croquet, slides, sand pits, swings, and a little paddling pond.

A staff member is available for the little ones (more than one when there are a crowd of children).

The food off the menu is considerably better than snack bar buffet which we were served, and while the prices are northern suburbs, they are not outrageous.

Green Garden Cafe

Worth visiting only if you have children with surplus energy to burn.
