Crimes That Shook Britain lifts the lid on the biggest scandals the UK has ever seen and retells the biggest crimes to hit the UK, through the eyes of the people placed right at the heart of the tragedies. Through gripping interviews, drama reconstructions and archives; the producers piece together the murders that shocked the nation. In this series, they will be explaining the detailed events leading up to the crime, the crime itself and the aftermath.

In the first episode they look at the crime known as the White House Farm murders.  Jeremy Neville Bamber was convicted in 1986 of the murder of his adoptive parents, adoptive sister and her six-year-old twin sons in August 1985 in Essex, England.
