As wonderful as the ballet movies are (and we are grateful to be able to see ballets we have either not seen before or not seen for a very long time), the wonder of seeing ballet live is always better.  Joburg Ballet’’s production of Swan Lake at the Joburg Theatre will run from 17 April to 3 May 2015.  This time the production will feature magnificent new Russian-Gothic sets designed by Andrew Botha who known for his sumptuous but cost effective designs.   Friends of the Ballet paid for the design and construction of these new sets.

There will be 80 dancers in the new Swan Lake production.  The run is from Friday 17 April to Sunday 3 May 2015 at Joburg Theatre.  Tickets from R100 to R400.BOOKING: Joburg Theatre / 0861 670 670 /
