Baggage Battles is now starting its third season. It has been compulsive viewing for many and I certainly understand its appeal. This fascinating programme made its South African debut on 9 September 2014.
Various dealers are brought together to bid against each other in order to make the biggest profit from their buys.
These dealers are: Billy Leroy, a seasoned professional fine art expert with nearly three decades in buying from auctions and selling for profit.

Laurence and Sally Martin, a couple with a fine arts degree, an MBA and an engineering degree and more than forty years experience in the antique trade between them, although Laurence has 56 years experience (alone) in the auction game.

Mark Meyer is the youngster, only 25, still living at home with his parents, perhaps a canny thing for a finance degreed person to be doing in tough times. He is still earning his stripes, but is already a formidable opponent.

Enjoy the series.
