A young Indian woman, the beautiful and talented Kamini Govender, brings her brand of humour to the Albany Cabaret Club on the Fringe at the 2014 National Arts Festival.

Perhaps it was generational or racial or a combination, but I never entirely got this, although there were some delightful moments.  Directed by Verne Rowin Munsamy, written and performed by Kamini Govender, was still worth seeing, and the others in the audience seemed more appreciative than I was, but still somewhat underwhelmed.

The Albany Cabaret Club is a user friendly venue for people with mobility issues.  There are shows on 12 July at 22:00 and 13 July at 14:00 with the latter being a 1/2 price performance.
