Rhinos … white rhinos

White rhino have never really impressed me much until the more recent years when the poaching war on them has taken such a heavy toll and, in the process, caught the imagination of the public.

Now I realise what a privilege it is to see these creatures.  Especially as these animals were causing quite a traffic jam although a relatively polite one, with people taking photos then moving on so others could enjoy the sight.

The public has been asked not to identify where these photographs are taken but, as this series of holiday snaps is a year old before posting, I think that it is safe to post them now.

Is there no way of getting these ticks off the rhinos and onto the poachers?

Is there no way of getting these ticks off the rhinos and onto the poachers?

And the next day we found them again …
