Clover Little Big Cook Off on SABC3 is a delight.

I am not often home on Saturday evenings, but this last Saturday evening I was home.  I caught the Clover Little Big Cook Off third episode.  I was hooked.  Basically the show uses a team of two, an adult and a child from the same family.

Each of the teams prepares one of their family recipes, then a recipe given to them.  The teams choose their own team name.

Team Charisma comprised Camagu Baleni and his niece Malika Jarana while the Durban Dynamite duo were Natasha Gobind and her nephew Samir Dookie.  The winning team for the night, though, was Sugar and Spice, a mother daughter team of Lee-Anne Ibbetson and her twelve year old daughter, Hannah.  Their family recipe was the Pineapple Crush Fridge Tart.  The winners of each week are going to find their recipes in a special series recipe book.

With three episodes behind us now, there are still six more episodes to go before the semi-finals.  Clover has a weekly quiz and the audience at home can tweet their answers to @CloverLBCO each week to stand a chance of winning R5000.

Saturdays, 6 p.m on SABC3.
