A is for Aeroplane disaster, Non-Stop, movie review (A-Z challenge in April 2014)

This is the first of a series of articles broadly themed "A-Z Challenge, April 2014" when all bloggers are challenged to write a post a day, excluding Sundays, using an alphabetical theme. Just a bit of fun for the month of April.

Non-Stop is an American/French thriller starring Liam Neeson.  It was made in 2014.

It is about an alcoholic, Bill Marks (Liam Neeson) who is discharged from the police because of his alcohol problem. He becomes a US federal air marshall.  The hi-jackers of a plane manage to pin the hi-jacking on him and things go from bad to worse on British Aqualantic Flight 10 from New York to London.

Non-Stop is mostly plausible and I found it full of suspense, so much so that despite the fact that my bladder was just about bursting I would not leave to empty it, although I did dash out the second the credits began – not my usual style at all.  Great date night movie for both guys and girls.

Rating:  8/10  This is despite what the American critics thought of it.

I saw the trailer for this, but never saw the movie show up in the theatre. Will have to rent it from Netflix or the library. Thank you for the reminder and the recommendation.
